Who is the Business, Marketing and Information Technology Education (BMITE) Division of Oklahoma ACTE?

Business, Marketing and Information Technology Education Division (BMITE) is a membership based organization and a subsidiary group of Oklahoma Association of Career and Technology Education (OkACTE). BMITE is the division for all of the teachers and instructors in Business, Marketing, and Information Technology classrooms across the state of Oklahoma.

What is the purpose of BMITE?

The purpose of BMITE is:

To increase the effectiveness of business and marketing throughout the state and nation and to encourage more involvement at the regional and national level.

Emphasize and encourage the promotion and expansion of Business Professionals of America (BPA) and DECA.

Encourage and promote participation and a better understanding among business, marketing, and information technology educators at all education levels.

To cooperate with and support the Oklahoma ACTE through affiliate membership.

To encourage worthy students to enter the field of business, marketing, management, entrepreneurship and information technology.

Who can join BMITE?

All persons interested in business, marketing, management, entrepreneurship, and information technology are eligible for membership, and an active membership is for 1 year. Dues for the organization are collected annually at the Oklahoma Department of CareerTech and Oklahoma ACTE Summer Conference.
