Region 1 Vice-President

Region 1 Vice Presidents (one-year term expiring August 2018)

Tech Center – Jessica Schanbacher, NW Technology Center

Bio:  After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in 2004 in Business Education, I started my teaching career in 2005 as a middle level math teacher at Mountain View-Gotebo.  I thought I was getting closer to my specialty area when I took my second job as a middle school technology-engineering teacher at Alva in 2008, and I was surprisingly wrong.  After 3 years, I then stumbled upon my current position as a Graphic Design Instructor at Northwest Technology Center where I have taught for the past 6 years.  Throughout my teaching career, I have been given many different opportunities that have not always been in an area of confidence for me; however, I have been able to adapt, embrace and persevere in each situation.  I have learned and grown so much over the past 12 years of teaching, and I look forward to a new challenge!

High School – Lea Ann Meyer, Leedey High School

Bio:  Lea Ann has had numerous leadership activities including serving on the Leedey City Council as well as serving on the board of directors for the Leedey Nursing Home.  This year she had 10 students qualify as BPA Ambassadors.
