Duties:
The Chair of the Legislative Committee will serve for a 3-year term and be appointed by
the BMITE President.
Committee members will be appointed by the Committee Chair.
Committee members will inform BMITE members of legislative activities.
Committee members will network with all regions and promote PAC.
Committee members will conduct at least one educational event (workshop, video,
training, etc.) to educate BMITE members on how to become politically active.
The OkACTE PAC is an organization with a purpose to raise money and help finance the campaigns of candidates sensitive to the interests of OkACTE members. The OkACTE PAC allows Oklahoma career and technology educators to pool financial resources providing more substantial influence on the political process.
